On the morning of 4th March 2024, the first fabricated vessel of 3500TEU Dual-Fuel container ship built by Sanfu Shipbuilding for German ship owner was launched at 4# ship platform.
The ship has an overall length of 248.00m, inter-drape length of 236.50m, beam of 35.20m, depth of 19.2m, design draught of 11.00m, maximum DWT of 51,000 tonnes, capacity of 1,076 40ft reefer containers, design speed of 19.5 knots, and entered into DNV classification society.
The ship is designed by German HB HUNTE company based on the principle of protecting ecological environment. The propulsion system adopts dual-fuel (high-pressure LNG and MGO) power main engine; equipped with axle belt generator, two MGO fuel oil generators and one LNG fuel oil generator, which can satisfy the electric power demand under different working conditions; adopting the rudder-propeller integration design, CPP + rudder blades with rudder ball and S-shape deflector edge, which can improve the propulsion efficiency and slewing performance effectively. The rudder-propeller integrated design with adjustable propeller + rudder blade with rudder ball and S-shaped deflector edge effectively improves propulsion efficiency and slewing performance.
