On 28th June, 2024, Sanfu shipyard completed two milestones in one day, one ship keel laying and one ship signature delivery.
At 10:18 a.m., a 3500TEU dual-fuel (LNG+MGO) containership built by Sanfu shipyard for a German owner held the keel laying ceremony at 4# shipyard, where representatives of the owner, DNV and Sanfu shipyard attended the keel laying ceremony.
The 3500TEU dual-fuel container ship has an overall length of 248.00m, a plumbline length of 236.50m, a beam of 35.20m, a depth of 19.2m, a design draught of 11.00m, a maximum DWT of 51,000 tonnes, a design speed of 19.5 knots, and has been classed by DNV. The owner has ordered 6 vessels of the same type from Sanfu shipyard, and the third one was keel laying on today.
At 11:00 a.m., the signing and delivery ceremony of the 11000DWT MPC built for the German owner was held in the company's meeting room.
The 11000DWT MPC has an overall length of 149.95 metres, a plumbline length of 143.05 metres, a beam of 23.20 metres, a depth of 10.5 metres, a design draught of 8.50 metres and a speed of 15.5 knots. The owner has ordered 15 vessels of the same type from Sanfu shipyard, and today's delivery is the 2nd one.
