At 10:18 a.m. on 7th August 2024, Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. held the steel cutting ceremony of a 12,500DWT multi-purpose vessel built for a German shipowner in the steel workshop, with the representatives of the shipowner, DNV Classification Society, and Sanfu Shipbuilding attending the steel cutting ceremony.

The ship has an overall length of 147.00metres, a length between perpendiculars of 140.00metres, a breadth of 22.80metres, a depth of 11.55metres, a design draught of 7.50metres, a speed of 15 knots, a range of 10,200 nautical miles, and it has entered the DNV classification society.

The vessel under construction is the first vessel of the series built by the ship owner.

This series of vessels is further optimised and designed by Sanfu shipyard on the basis of the original 12,500-ton MPP model, which is a new type of green and environmentally friendly vessel with increased ice strengthening and meets TIER 3 emission rules.
