At 6:18 a.m. on 3 December 2024, SF130218, the eighth vessel in the series of 11,000DWT MPV built by Sanfu Shipbuilding for a German owner, was successfully launched at the company's 4# slipway.

The ship has an overall length of 149.95 metres, a plumbline length of 143.05 metres, a breadth of 23.20 metres, a depth of 10.5 metres, a design draught of 8.50 metres, a speed of 15.5 knots, and it has been classified by LR.

On the basis of summarising the construction experience of the previous vessel, the project team of the vessel strengthened lean production, continued to promote the modern shipbuilding mode, further improved the construction efficiency, and the integrity of the launching reached a new high. The high quality launching of the vessel has created favourable conditions for the subsequent dock commissioning work, marking a solid step towards the smooth delivery of the vessel.
